The train passes the camera in the region of 10 minutes behind schedule |

12th August - Freightliner's Class 86s, Nos.86614 and 86638 came to grief on the Great Eastern Mainline near Ilford when 86614 developed a fault whilst working 4L89, the 22:00 Coatbridge - Felixstowe North Intermodal service. The train made it as far as Brentwood on the 'Electric Lines' where it was declared a failure. National Express East Anglia's Class 90, No.90006 was the nearest available loco at Ilford EMUD which was promptly sent to assist the ailing train. Running as 0P99, 90006 made the short run to Shenfield where it reversed for the short run back to Brentwood to drag the ensemble to Ipswich Yard. The train slows to allow a Leicester bound passenger service to proceed from Syston Junction as the freight is running 15 minutes behind schedule |

13th August - EWS Class 66, No.66065 heads South through Cossington just a few minutes into its journey to East Anglia leading 6L39, the 10:18 loaded hopper service to Norwich Trowse. The train's journey made even more arduous this week due to an engineering blockade between Norwich and Attleborough which necessitates a run around in Ipswich Yard after travelling via Ely and Bury St Edmunds, after the run around is complete the train heads North through Stowmarket and Diss before reaching the unloading terminal at Trowse |
